The below interview with tattoo artist Samantha Ceora is remarkable for many reasons.
The first being the spirituality and emotional depth that Ceora reveals about her tattoo process. She takes her artistry and her responsibility very seriously; she understands the lasting impact that a tattoo has and her interview displays the ethical, moral and emotional weight that she carries so knowingly and so gracefully. It takes deep intuition to provide the tattoo experience that she does, not just artistic talent. Regarding artistic talent, the lady is overflowing with it. She is constantly creating, moment to moment, whether it be her tattoo work, drawing, shows with her performance art troupe LA Sirenes, stained glass, costumes…. It goes on and on. She has been and continues to be a truly inspirational indvidual to me.
The second being that this is the last Blue Ambition interview for a while; yes, the project is going on “hiatus”. It has been a truly memorable and precious experience documenting the journey of these amazing artists to this point. More news to come about the future of Blue Ambition in the months ahead.
For the nonce, enjoy the below interview with the beautiful, engaging and unique artist Samantha Ceora.
