L.A. DeCom 2013 Part 1: Angeleno Burners Get It On At The Cornfield

The 2013 11th Annual Los Angeles Burning Man Decompression Arts and Music Celebration, presented by the Los Angeles League of Arts, was held on Saturday, 5 October at the Los Angeles State Historic Park, affectionately known as The Cornfield.

I was present to cover a show by the performance art group Le Sirenes (much more on that later), and parked myself in the media tower in front of DeCom’s only fire stage, the Flow Arts Stage, for some incendiary showmanship.

The Flow Arts Stage was hosted by the L.A. Fire Brigade, which put on a phenomenal show.  Many thanks to them and their media wrangler, Pear Bear, for all their patience and help.
