Maui 2017

Aloha!

Below are some shots from the latest trip to Maui.  Ah, Maui….

These were all shot on a Yashica Mat TLR (hence the 6×6 format) from the early 1960’s that was given to me as a gift.  This trip was the last time I’m gonna use the friggin’ thing.  A long story, but the bottom line is that it drove me up the wall!!

Anyway, enjoy these shots; they come nothing close to being there, but, as the saying goes, it is what it is.

A dilapidated railway structure along the defunct “Sugar Cane Train” line. Sugar production is now a thing of the past in Maui. Velvia 100. Copyright © PK Images 2017

Random double exposure of the Holy Rosary church in Paia and the beach in front of Mama’s. Purely by accident, but way more interesing than either image would have been on its own. Kodak Portra 400. Copyright © PK Images 2017
