Applehead Studios is situated on a farm in Saugerties, New York and between tracking sessions last April, I would step outside to breathe in the fresh spring air, get some shots of the farm, and then find a stick to clean the shit off my boots.
I learned something valuable by being on a farm those few days, which is: If you are on a farm, there is no question that you are going to step in shit, the only question is what kind of shit will you step in. There was grassy, brick like horse and llama shit (yes, llama, and a rescue llama at that – who knew there was such a thing?), pellet size goat shit, chicken shit and good ol’ sloppy dog shit.
But I digress. The farm was gorgeous and the animals were all eager to be on camera – with the exception of the guinea hen, what a little jerk that thing was! She would jump up and peck you on the thigh. She should switch to decaf.
Enjoy these shots of the celebrities of the farm!
